Origin's CEO interviewed |
Our very own Ashley (aka mint) sat down with co founder and owner of Origin PC in a brief interview to let you know a bit more about this great company.
I am here today interviewing the CEO of Origin PC for Team-Decerto. This article will give you an insight into one of the primary sponsors of Team-Decerto and how this truly unique company functions.
Ashley: Please Introduce Yourself:
My name is Kevin Wasielewski, CEO and Co-Founder of ORIGIN PC. I’m currently hooked on Skyrim and Battlefield 3. I can’t wait to play Batman Arkham City when I finally have time!
Ashley: Could you sum up OriginPC sells to the public?
ORIGIN PC builds systems with the most customization, highest performance, and best customer service/technical support. ORIGIN PC was started in 2009 by former Alienware execs who left after Dell acquired the company and changed the manufacturing and support. We are based in Miami, FL and ship worldwide. Our award winning line of desktops and laptops can be customized on our website or over the phone with one of our specialists.
Ashley: With the current economic troubles in Europe, do you think that Origin PC will make it through the hard times ahead?
Most of our sales are US based but this question can still apply worldwide. We have been growing at a fast rate even with the economy not at its strongest point. Once the market bounces back we are poised to explode, for now we are happy enjoying growth over 100% every year so far.
Ashley: What makes Origin PC unique when compared to its competitors?
• Our EON17-S is the only laptop on the market with an overclocked processor up to 4.8GHz AND an overclocked Graphics card
• We offer the most customized PCs on the market. For example we will build our GENESIS desktop in any chassis the customer wants.
• Our systems have award winning integration and industry leading performance (We hold PCWorld’s Worldbench record for the highest laptop score by a large margin. BTW, we also hold their desktop record.)
• We offer custom airbrushing and customer laser etching (Examples here).
• Our systems are backed by Free Lifetime Technical Support based in the United States and Free Lifetime Labour on Upgrades
• I don’t want it to be a main focus, but somewhere you should add our 10 years of experience with Alienware before starting ORIGIN PC.
Ashley: What goals for 2012 does Origin PC have?
• Continuing to deliver the best customer experience and highest performance while also bringing innovative new products, features, and technology.
